We visited this place on a cold winter day but still found the place to be almost full. Fortunately we had made reservations. The menu is focused on open sandwiches on rye bread and closed sandwiches on wheat. The selection is small but sufficient and managed to offer fish, meat and vegetable focused meals. The main attraction is the beer as this is a very good micro brewery with a large collection of craft beers. A shop offers the opportunity to buy the goods as well as other local produce. I had three open sandwiches and they are very large and delicious. The wooden plates are too small and as you cut into the sandwich it is hard not to have some of the filling end up on the table. They make their beers here and even grow the barley for most of their malt here. Pretty incredible to see such a feat achieved in the Danish countryside. I really enjoyed the bread with herring and the vegan one. We really enjoyed this unexpected stop in this little town. Not a large menu but they have a lot of specialty beers on offer and even a stout that has been in whiskey casket for a year. We enjoyed a bit to eat and some apple soda. Plenty of parking. Nice stop after walking the national park nearby. I bought a few brown ales for the husband so looking forward...
