Restaurant Fjorden — Restaurant in Lolland Municipality

Let's be clear on the fact that we didn't eat here, so I won't judge that. The reason I'm writing a review is that, after a 60 km detour, we didn't even get past the front door as we were immediately pointed back and were told in a rather snooty way that there was no table free because we didn't have a reservation... even though the ENTIRE restaurant was practically empty. We were told that they were expecting a group of people in an hour or so and therefore had no table for us... Even when we explained that we were just passing through and that we just wanted a quick bite to eat before moving on, and that we only needed like a half an hour or so, we were told agian no because all the tables were already booked... Listen......I understand that the kitchen staff might have been completely absorbed in preparing food for such a "group", but at the same time, I find it incomprehensible that, a big place like that, couldn't provide us with a simple meal or a coffee with a pastry in an completly empty restaurant. Better luck next time, I guess.....however....I think there won´t be a next time for us. So this review is just to warn other people that the possibility of driving all the way out there and being told no...
