Indigo — Restaurant in Higüey

Beautiful view, great wind so is cooler even tho is really hot and sunny. Food is say is “ok” 6/10 some meals better than others but overall is ok. However the service is horrible. You might sit there forever and they won’t come. If they do they don’t even talk to you. I speak Spanish and English I tried both languages and they still barely try to communicate. (They do speak Spanish they were Dominican). They got our order wrong several times, they don’t clarify with you if they don’t get your order so whatever they thought it was you’ll get. First time we came we ordered steaks medium, they came BLUE, literally raw. One of the worst customer services I’ve ever had. If it wasn’t for the view I’d not come here again. We had breakfast, lunch, dinner here. The location is perfect by the ocean. One side is beach, the other is water sports center. You get to see people saling, SUP and wind surf. Can’t get any better. Deck area has great lounge seating with glasspanelled balustrade which is great. I can stay here all day and just looking at the ocean. Staff work really hard here. They are simply incredible.
