Restaurante El Zaguán — Restaurant in La Hispaniola

We had gone to another restaurant and after about 10 minutes of no one even acknowledging us, we left. That was the best thing that could have happened because we went to EL ZAGUAN RESTAURANT instead! Perfect 10 all around. I had the shrimp asopao....packed with flavor. My friend had steal wirh flavor. Nelson , our waiter could not havd been micer. He was excellent and paid attention to detail....and even asked our names and was just an excellent waiter. El Zaguan is a place i will be going back to whenever I pass...

This is a consistently great place for either lunch or dinner. There is seating indoor in an air conditioned room and outdoor under an open air roof. The food is traditional Dominican cuisine with European touches and is quite delicious. The owners are always present and the staff are attentive...

The best restaurant I've been to so far in la vega. The food i ordered was very delicious. I ordered steamed salmon with butter sauce on the side, fried plantains and a green salad. Oh my gosh i was in heaven when i received my plate and the butter sauce took me to the clouds. I top my meal off with a quisqueya beer. The service was great, the waitress and the owner very attentive. 5 stars for my best experience ever.

El mejor restaurante que has visitado en la vega. La comida que ordene estaba bien deliciosa. La comida que ordene fue un salmon al vapor con salsa de ajillo al lado, tostones y un ensalada verde. Ay dios mio, cuando recibi my plato me quede encantada y la salsa al ajillo aparte me llevo a las nube. Termine mi almuerzo con una bebida serveza de quisqueya. El servicio en este restaurante fue espectacular. El dueño y el mesero fueron muy atento con nosotros. Yo le doy 5 estrella por el mejor...
