Nice setting, walking distance through the beach from the two big resorts nearby. We came here because we wanted a change from the bland cuisine from the all inclusive… There was a guy with a guitar playing which made the atmosphere nice. Couple of locals mixed with tourists. This place came highly recommended however: the service was not so friendly. Even though we spoke Spanish it was difficult to complete the order which came with chicken pasta instead of the ordered shrimp pasta (although the words are really different). At first they didn’t want to change it until they eventually did… strange customer service ! be mindful of the 10% service charge the pina colada was delicious but we ordered with alcohol (together with the extra charge) and pretty sure it came without’ the portions are very big and it can lead to waste so please check before you’re ordering as it can be for 2 people with sides that came with it. the chillo was good, shrimps were mediocre. total 40 bucks for 2 mains and a non alcoholic cocktail is a bit pricey to me vs...

Very good food. The fried fish is amazing. Better than lewis fried fish. Here they are using a better oil and seasoning to fry the fish. For a typical beach domincan Resturant is a expensive. It’s not cheap like DR cheap. It’s priced like the USA. It’ cost about 600 pesos or 12 dollars for a pound of fried snapper aka Chillo. Or 900 pesos or almost $20 for 1.5 pounds of the same. Definitely no cheap. For that I don’t come here much. The white rice kinda sucks the beans ain’t special and are always cold but the fish makes it worth it. It’s a busy tourist trap. Someone update the price to expensive In the states these prices are considered expensive. The service is non attentive and slow. You better get up out of your chair to get something or you will never get it. Anyway the cops are always here too if you like that sorta thing. The beach it self is amazing. There is always a lot of people here. No WiFi 4u. There is a river here also nice to swim and it...

Best piña colada I ever had, we had it on the pineapple and you could taste the freshness of the fruit mixed with the fantastic local rum. Is a super nice spot at one of my favorite beaches in the world ( Playa Cosón ) The food was really tasty, specially their fries. The atmosphere was perfect, there was a be group of people in the table nearby and they were dancing and making sure everyone was having a good time. The food runner was extremely helpful ❤️

The best grilled fish I’ve ever had. We had whole “Grillo” fish (I think “grillo” is red snapper) both fried and “a la plancha” or on the grill. A la Plancha, or on the grill, was the best. So much more flavorful and juicy. It was delicious: charred, tender, limey and smokey. The piña coladas were great too. Service is good, but don’t come in a hurry, it’s a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view and explore the beach and river.
