This is a wonderful experience. Most restaurants we visited were very "local". And though enjoyable, and on vacay, I'm from the northeast. I don't want to wait 45 min for a chkn sandwich. And they lose tons of money not following up on needing anything. Not the case here. Top notch surroundings, food and service. Your seated among the trees in a breeze, enjoying a cocktail. The salad with feta and olives is heavenly and enough for 4, though you might not want to share. We ordered the Schwabenphanne( porkloin w mushrooms over baked mac n cheese), the chile salmon w capers and the whole beef filet. This restaurant is an absolute must-visit in Puerto Plata! The food was nothing short of spectacular,every bite was bursting with flavor and clearly made with love. The service? Absolutely top-notch! The staff went above and beyond, making us feel so welcome. Even though they were fully booked, they still found a way to accommodate us, and we couldn’t be more grateful. If I could I would give this place 10 stars. Amazing food, service and decor, very clean too. The server was professional and knowledgeable. He first inquired about food for our boys and made an excellent recommendation. Food for the boys was served before our food which was so convenient and I wish other places were this accommodating to kids. The boys were entertained by birds most of the time.
