Nardo Restaurante – Ecuador’s Hidden Gem for Fine Dining
Looking for the best upscale restaurant in Ecuador? Add Nardo Restaurante to the top of your list. This place is an absolute standout for anyone who appreciates fine dining, artistic plating, and truly next-level service.
From the moment we walked in, everything felt intentional—from the intimate ambiance to the personalized attention. This is a dress-to-impress kind of night, where a nice button-up or elegant dress feels perfectly at home.
We started with a beautifully crafted amuse-bouche: a delicate wrap filled with fresh, vibrant flavors, topped with microgreens and black sesame seeds. A bite-sized masterpiece that immediately set the tone for the night.
But the showstopper? The vegetable paella. Served in a rustic black pan, it was a visual and culinary celebration—roasted cherry tomatoes, grilled asparagus, yellow carrots, shishito peppers, and a charred onion flower in the center. The socarrat (crispy bottom layer of rice) had the perfect texture, and every vegetable was roasted to perfection. It was a dish that tasted like it came straight from the earth and landed in a Michelin-level kitchen.
And the drink? Don’t even get me started. We had a perfectly balanced craft cocktail that complemented the meal like it was composed by a symphony conductor. The mixologist clearly knows their art.
Whether you’re a foodie visiting Ecuador or a local looking for an elevated night out, Nardo Restaurante offers an unforgettable dining experience. Fine dining, artistic presentation, friendly staff, and a vibe that says you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
