Capri Restaurant Café كابري — Restaurant in Al Ahia'

It was our favorite place. We’ve been many times here. But this cafe is spoilt.

The last visit was awful. There were 4 employees, 3 from them look like their age were less than 15 years old and all of them don’t know English. Only a manager knows the language. They had mistaken our order - they had brought incorrect drinks. But it wasn’t the most big problem. We wanted to order a salmon, but manager said, that now isn’t a season for salmon (although, in other restaurants we’ve seen them). We said - ok. Next, we wanted to order beef fajitas. But the manager tried to convince us take chicken fajitas, later we understood why. We’ve waited for 40 minutes. As a result, they didn't have beef (one of the popular dishes here!), and we saw the manager get out of the taxi with beef. So almost an hour after ordering, all we saw was raw beef. The manager must have been honest with us that they didn't have beef. Also we ordered a hookah, its taste was awful.

Fish, shrimps, calamari in a rich creamy broth. Mains Fillet mignon medium rare with fresh mushroom sauce, saute vegetables and crispy French Fries. Cooked perfectly. Chicken curry with rice saute vegetables mild sauce but offered spicier if need be. I stayed on a solo holiday in the Juliana beach Hotel next door to the Capri restaurant and as I was self catering I would have meals and coffees most days. As I was alone in Egypt I needed support and the guys and management of the Capri were very helpful, The food was great and reasonably priced. The service was excellent but above all I felt welcomed every time. It is well worth a visit and if they can assist in any other way, the guys will help and advise.
