Fish House — Restaurant in Al Ahia'

🤮Absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. From the start, the service was incredibly unfriendly to us as three Asian women. The manager initially refused to give us a menu, and we had to ask multiple times before he finally did.

When my soup arrived, there was a strand of hair in it. I called the manager over, and instead of apologizing, he acted clueless and just took the soup away without any explanation. Then, we ordered a specific fish dish using a photo from their menu, but what they served us was completely different. When we pointed this out, the manager kept insisting it was the same dish, even though a bystander who was called over confirmed they were two completely different dishes. Despite this, the manager continued to argue and refused to acknowledge the mistake.

The seafood was not fresh at all—clearly cooked from dead seafood—and every single dish tasted awful. The dish they brought incorrectly remained untouched, but when we went to pay, they still tried to charge us for it. We had to argue with the owner for a long time, and throughout the conversation, he repeatedly insisted it wasn’t his fault and refused to take any responsibility.

Lovely food and great service at the Fish House which I believe is another new look place on the main road. Loads of seating outside including the tables that swing. Sadly we had five people so got a normal table, but it was fun to watch those swaying in the others. Great menu and service, and you can sit inside on a hot night if you need AC. All dishes served with flat bread and dips, just remember for now this is a no alcohol place which is a shame because I would have loved a nice glass of white wine to go with my fresh cooked fish. This is another new addition to the other restaurants popping up in this area, we love fish so thought we would give it a try, we are so glad we did, the staff are lovely and attententive the manager is an amazing man always walking around checking everything is good and your happy with the food, such a nice man which is good to see.
