The Courtyard Maadi — Restaurant in Cairo

Wide variety of cafes and restaurants, over two floors with indoor and outdoor seating, and nicely groomed open areas to walk around. Was there for their New Year's eve party, they put on a nice show with live music, a DJ with variety music local and international hits and a fire acrobat show.Their security for the event was great with what looked like bouncers at the gates and around the stage area and the makeshift dance floor. They also had kids' activities, and pretty decorations.You can find their vallet parking, they put your car in an underground multilevel garage within the facility, they give you a number which you can call when you are ready to leave and they'll have your car ready for you at whichever gate you prefer, at a very reasonable price actually. And it's great that mostly it is wheelchair accessible. Generally a nice spot, with reasonable prices and a classy overall feel, very well located at a cool Maadi...

Simply Carpaccio is the worst restaurant I have ever seen, non professional and aggressive staff. We made an order: chicken alferado, strawberry jar, 4 smoothie and mango juice.... after 60 mins we only get the pasta and strawberry jar!!!!!! So we asked why it takes that time and asked to cancel the order and as a super professional service :) they cancel it and give us the bill and as a professional team they added the wrong bill and added the juice ???!!!! So we asked about that and another guy come to us and start apologizing and the order is ready now...so my friends says let's get the order as long it is ready :) but again wasn't ready even the juice wasn't cold imagine hot juice and the smoothie wasn't smoothie was normal juice .....long story short it is one of the worst...

So when reviewing the courtyard I will be reviewing management, Lets start with the whole experience, they force you to valet your car ( even thought there are cases of the cars being left with scratches) Tried to park and they don't allow you, so going to the courtyard unless u wanna risk leaving your car Going by car is a no no. secondly, the place gets extra crowded on weekends makes it hard to chill there.

Pros = some decent options, lots of open air areas. Cons. = Management is horrible.

So variety of options (3 stars) Vibe = 3 stars Management = 1 stars
