It was my 1st time being there and probably the last one. I had brunch and the food was ok (nothing special). what I didn't like is the staff they were so stressed and they aren't so helpful .. they expect you to know their menu and the portion of the food, just like that by yourself, the waiter after she took our order the 1st time she was looking to us with a weird look and she said you have to know that the portion is small and you may need to order for more ... I was a bit shocked of her behavior, we were 3 and my freinds ordered pastrami omelet and Fava beans. I ordered in the beginning labna coz I wasn't hungry so my friends added fries on their order and I added man'ousha haloum and we got at the end a bill over 500 EGP. It's not about money, it's about the way that the waiter didn't accept our order the 1st time, specially there's no minimum charge at this place! Also there's another con about the place, it's located in the middle of a hotel park if you go there after 10 am you don't have any other option unless you wait for a golf cart otherwise you will get hit by the sun .. and we've been waiting for this cart for more than 15 min and never came to pick us from the restaurant, so we decided to walk to the parking in the middle of the noon !!! I usually don't write long reviews but this one worth the...
Read moreVisiting Villa Beirut was the worst experience ever. The moment we entered the restaurant, nobody welcomed us and we had to ask to be seated.
The food was not that tasty. We ordered maalobit chicken and it was supposed to be served with yogurt as mentioned in the menu, but it came without the yogurt. When we asked for the yogurt, the waiter brought a small portion for a main dish. The sausages were overcooked. The chicken in the maalobe was very dry. The fries were a bit soggy. I ordered fresh orange juice, it was literally worse than tang.
We asked several times for the soft drinks, nobody was responsive although the soft drinks were in the fridge just right in front of us.
The waiter served with a negative attitude and wasn't happy when we ordered ice with the drinks because he felt like we were overwhelming him!!!!
The worst thing in this whole experience was the service. If I had the chance to rate it below a star, I would've. We asked for the check and waited 20 minutes to get it. We kept calling for the check and they kept ignoring us.
What can I say other than I don't recommend visiting Villa...
Read moreFirst no one at the reception we waited for anyone to find us a emty table although there is a lot of empty tables and when we talked to the receptionist he didn’t care and kept talking to other table for around an hour and we went for an empty dirty table till the waiter came. Waiter took long to bring us the menu and he doesn’t know any thing about service as he doesn’t welcomed us or said a word with soild face and when he took the order he didn’t offer any recommendations or water or anything. The food took 40 minutes to be served. We ordered fattah beef and chicken both were bad “bread was soaked oil the rice is very little couldn’t complete eating it. Chicken arayed had no flavour and not tasty at all. Manoucheh labnah and zaatar was sour and the zataar was plain. Overall experience is very bad and sad because the place worth better service and food And the staff should be aware about the meaning of service for a fine dining restaurant. I am sad because I didn’t believe the reviews to not try. I don’t recommend at all as you will be disappointed from the service...
