This is the only food and snack option at the Luxor domestic terminal. I bought a small Diet Pepsi, small Red Bull and two regular sticks of Twix chocolate and was charged 400 Egyptian Pounds- equivalent to almost $10 US! I asked the lady to show me the charges and to give me a receipt. The sodas actually were listed as such but the Twix just said Chocolate and it was 100 pounds each! 100 for a single stick of Twix (a little over $2). He whole approved and character seemed shady to me. We were hungry and in a hurry so I paid and we left. There was a dispensing machine in the terminal with Chocolate priced at 20 Egyptian Pounds. I despise being cheated. I willingly gave 200 Egyptian pounds to the person managing the bathroom but when someone lies and thinks they pulled a fast one on an inattentive tourist, it just goes all over me.
