(Note: I write these reviews in part for my own business clients, for travel inspiration! I’m a financial planner - CFP®️practitioner - with a focus on retirement wealth strategies, primarily serving business women and LGBTQ individuals. #VirtualPlanningCraftedWithCare)

My clients and I love to travel. I enjoy writing reviews of places I think others may want to visit. If you’ll be in El Salvador, stop by here!

I brought my host family here on a weekday for the afternoon. It wasn’t a very hot day because it was overcast, but warm enough that we were able to enjoy their beautiful and clean pool area. It’s also oceanside, if that’s your preference, but the water was choppy this day.

When you arrive, you pay something like $35 per person, but then this is credited towards your food and drinks. It’s a pretty good deal, as the food is excellent. Try the ceviche. 😋 The service is terrific. They have covered tables indoors and outdoors. Unfortunately, there are stray dogs on the property and dog poop in some areas because of it, but they do a decent job keeping them away. This is an issue all over the country.

They have music and changing rooms. Very clean bathrooms, which tells me they run a clean establishment all around. 🚮

I’m not sure this is a place for young kids or seniors, but an excellent place for couples, friends, adult families and early retirees. El Salvador didn’t strike me as the most LGBTQ welcoming place, but I also had no reason to believe it’s an LGBTQ hostile environment.

Generally speaking, I found this establishment to be safe, fun and an excellent place to spend an afternoon relaxing with a drink. They make an excellent strawberry...

Right by the beach in Costa del Sol, it gives an amazing vacation feeling. Where you get to have great food and dreat drinks right on the beach. The beautiful but very sticky black sand is awesome and adds to the vibe of your meal. The service here is incredible and they have a bar and beach seating as well. There is wild dogs on the beach so if you do feed them they will not leave your side. Do not feed the wild dogs. The service the price and the atmosphere is all incredible here. It's a perfect stop that won't break the bank if you're coming from another country. I went during the off-peak season so all I had to do was pay for food and I was able to hang out there all day. During peak I would imagine that you do have to buy a room there. They do have their own parking but during peak I'm not sure if you have to...

Beat most of the crowds by showing up before 11am usually the second floor is empty (Maybe earlier on weekends) Parking is free but can run out of space quickly and while it’s a tight fit the attendant will help guide you. They even cover your windshield so it won’t be too hot. Food is reasonably priced, mariscos will be a tad bit pricier, but if you’re from the states it’s not going to break the bank at all. Highly recommend if you’re not spending the night on the beach and just there for the day. Sand does get around but then again, you’re at the beach. Costa del Sol is one of the best beaches in El Salvador...
