La Esperanza — Restaurant in Departamento de Santa Ana

A very nicely decorated cafe in Chalchuapa. It doesn't have a sign so it might be easily missed but I found the name of the cafe on a sticker behind a sign which was close to the entrance of the cafe! But I suppose it won't be difficult to find because you can actually smell the bread as you walk past and you be intrigued to look inside at such a nice establishment. It would be nice if I had time to stay and chill and appreciate the ambience, but was in a rush and so had to do a take-away. I heard that there is this special muffin which one has to try when visiting this cafe, and it is the passionfruit muffin. Initially when I asked the staff they told me it was sold out but then they realized they had the last one on the shelf! So glad was able to have the last one and I have to say if you are a citrus fan you will like the passionfruit taste in a muffin. It's actually my first time eating such a flavour in a muffin and I too recommend it. The other pastries were not too bad as well and the price is also pretty reasonable. Fue una pésima experiencia, estuvimos esperando mesa y llegaba y llegaban y a nosotros no nos daban mesa, aún cuando llegamos primero, cuando ya no habia nadie esperando nos fuimos a sentar en una mesa qué se desocupó y una señora toda pesima y grosera que nos fue a levantar de la peor manera posible, no tuvo madera para decir las cosas y fue super repugnante, al final nos dieron una mesa, la llegaron a limpiar y la dejaron toda sucia; luego pedimos comida y como a los 20 minutos de estar esperando nos dicen que ya no nos pueden hacer la bebida, que ya se va el trabajador que las prepara, luego de unos 15 minutos más regresan diciéndonos que no hay ingredientes para lo que pedimos, ordenamos otra cosa y como a las 20 minutos nos vienen a decir que ya no nos iban a preparar nada por que ya estaban guardando y limpiando la cocina, (eran las 11 am, y ellos cierran a las 12 del medio día) que nos podían vender solo del pan embolsado del mostrador, si había un trabajador muy amable que se disculpo y todo, pero la señora que se ve que es más antigua de trabajar ahí fue de lo más pésima y grosera Perdimos casi dos horas y no...
