Altja kõrts — Restaurant in Haljala vald

I've been visiting this place for years and it's been great. Now they almost doubled their prices!... Chicken with rosemary used to cost 7€ and now it's 14€... Soup is 7€.

Things are good, no question, and there is no choice in the area. But it's shocking. Even the (very good) girl who works there agreed with me, and blamed her greedy boss for the steep raise in prices. So when you read all the other reviews from last year how good price it was,...

Stopped here for lunch during my day trip to Lahemma National Park. This is a nice little restaurant offering traditional Finnish cuisine and beverages. I had own main course (the herring with porridge) only and that itself was quite filling. The food quality was good.

Service was fast & efficient.

Altja kõrts is traditional restaurant where one can taste the typical Estonian countryside dishes. The place itself is a wooden house with in/outdoor tables and a warm atmosphere.
