Great update to the old place with new owner and rebranding. Interior is very nice, wall paint selected absolutely right, and ceiling and courtains making great feeling. Very cosy atmosphere. We were welcomed by the wait staff, seated, and quite quickly served. Waitress seemed to be a bit in rush and did not explain the water options, otherwise I can not describe why we ended up without water on our table, even when I've expressed my interest. Generally for such level of the restaurant - I do think water (if not bottled, but tap water - at least) should be included, and served immediately, along with bread/butter without questions. Bread plate was offered with a bit of butter under the hymalayan rose salt; ciabatta style bread was fresh with great crust, but a just a tiny bit too sweet for the ensemble with salt. Menu is quite interesting, covering good variety of options, something to chose from. I would add the cheese plate option, as the proposed platter for two had too much in offer for accompanement to glass of wine, and priced a bit unreasonable. Food is great we liked every bit and left plates empty. Portions are generous in size, not too much and well enough not to be hungry. 12hrs Pork belly was exceptional, with great crust, and not too fatty inside, excellent balance. Kiev cutlet was great in taste, with exceptional butter/herbs combination, served over well balanced herb risotto; but the deep compact bowl plate shape was absolutely wrong for this dish - that plate is good for desert with a spoon, but not for any main, where you should keep your utensils almost vertically while digging in the deep bowl; other thing - the risotto got served under the Kiev ball, and herbs/butter designated for the chicken was actually covering all the risotto, killing the taste of risotto and making it too greasy. But once again, if would be a right plate selected - the taste was exceptionally good. We had to ask waitress for the menu again, to make our dessert choice. It was not busy around, and we could be offered the options without asking. Passion parfait was very interesting and rich in flavors combination. Special thanks to waitress for bringing two spoons for both of us, as we mentioned - we just would like to taste the thing. Was a bit confused with the billing, had to pay at the counter (we're happened to be the last ones to leave) , and bill was not offered in the small designated box, so I had no chance to offer my tip to our waitress who was running around at a time (hand-to-hand is a bit rough for me). Overall - excellent to have such a stylish and thorough restaurant in neighborhood, hope they will survive these difficult times for the industry. Definitely...
Read moreCan't agree with the high ratings that this place receives. Promises to be a nice place, but the devil is in the details. Interior: You hang you clothes in a room where there are also worker's uniforms. Some chairs are piled up in the corner, not hidden from anyone going into the kid's playing room. Chairs are uncomfortable, you slide forward in them. Playroom is awful. Cold, dark, with lots of broken toys which are held in broken boxes. Walls are dirty from some pensil "artwork". And by cold I mean REALLY cold, I could not leave a child there, she would get sick. Service: staff are friendly, but needs education probably. Food was brought randomly, despite that we ordered almost everything few days before the event. Plates are taken away before you finish, but empty glasses were all over the table. Snacks were served with one fork per plate and five people have to pick up both guacamole and meat with the same fork. Food: average at best. Mine was fine, but nothing special. Maybe more seasoning would help... Wife's rice was undercooked, meat in the burger was undercooked, pork was undercooked. At this price and with a "resto" concept, it should all be perfect. I Wouldn't risk going on a date there or on a meeting with...
Read moreOur family of 10 enjoyed our outing to Musu very much. There wasn’t a single dish that was sub par, we loved them all - the 12hr pork cheek; the citrus salmon; the asparagus ravioli; beef burger; duck confit and even the fries for kids for 4€. Drinks were fab - light prosecco and we tried the mango-lime gin tonic & passion martini, which were both amazing & they also have non-alco drinks, incl. beer. Desserts were also lovely - creme brulee; chocolate mousse (which was more of a fondant); cheesecake (more of a lighter curd cake but that was perfect); passion parfait - mouthwatering every single one of them. A hidden gem of a place in Nômme, reasonably priced and very pleasant service that we’d recommend any day. They have a kids menu and a playroom as well. We loved the ambiance! Parking is in the street and wheelchair access is possible as the restaurant is on the ground floor. Yum! We’ll definitely go back...
