✌Glutenfree Options✌ I headed for a snack and a planned visit to Mimosa after a walk in nearby nature area.
A glutenfree dessert was on my mind and I was suggested their Pannacotta as a glutenfree alternative.
The Pannacotta was really yummy😋...and very filling too, also typically not so sweet but very tasty in flavors anyways.
The crispy and creamy combination was perfectly balanced, so freshly made with berries as 'the icing on the cake.'
The staff was nice and welcoming and it makes me want to come back another time to try any glutenfree course option, from their menu, if it's possible and if the contamination risk is ok. If not, I'll stick to the Pannacotta, no prob.
The old fashion building looks very beautiful and there's a terrace with a nice garden view, close to the street but anyway not disturbed by the traffic.
The interior is charming and cosy, inviting for a peaceful stay while dining. Well, it was a quiet place when I visited so I imagined it being a pretty peaceful restaurant.
I don't like loud, noisy and too busy restaurants but I'll definitely give Restoran Mimosa another try, coming there for dinner.
Bus stop a very short walking distance from the entrance makes it easy to access and leave, if your traveling with public...
Read moreI was abit outside of the city and didnt want to go back to city center because of so many tourists. So I decided to look outside estonian restaurants. Mimosa caught my eye because of the menu sounded really interesting. I had the starter which was for 2 people but I didnt had anything to eat for today. It tasted really amazing with all kind of estonian stuff like cheeses and toasted rye bread. For main I had red fish with cauliflower smash and other things which was really great also with down to earth tastes and for dessert ice cold cheesecake which was a good end for the menu. I really recommend this place if you are south of tallinn. Also the restaurant is really cool, you can eat on the backyard...

The main courses, once they finally arrived after almost an hour, were all ok; we had the goat cheese salad (well appreciated), chicken (my son enjoyed it) and the meat dish. The meat was ordered as medium rare, came in that way. Unfortunately it wasn't as tender as it should be. What's worse, they chose hazelnut with the dish. Far too dominant a nut for this dish, as it dominated the plate. Also I am a bit allergic to it so it was a bit...
