We arrived at 18:30, only to find the place packed to the brim, with a level of noise that wasn’t just loud—it was almost soul-crushing. Sadly, with no time to search for another spot, we had to endure it.When I approached a waiter at the door to ask if there were any available tables, I was met with a brusque and borderline rude response: 'Be there.' Not exactly the welcome I had hoped for. Still, we decided to stay and give the coffee a try, as we had heard great things about it. I ordered a fasting macchiato, and my girlfriend ordered water along with a caramel drink, the name of which escapes me.Then came the true disappointment—the macchiato. To put it simply, it was the worst macchiato I’ve ever had in Addis Ababa. Words can’t describe how unpleasant it was, and I honestly couldn’t believe my taste buds at first.
