The Coffee Hub - Ba — Restaurant in Western

Coffe Hub is a go to spot for me and whenever I’m in Ba that is a staple, but today was just baffling experience honestly, we came in with very little time to spare as we had other business to attend to, we placed our orders and got drinks first after waiting for a while we had to get a second round of drinks since the food was still nowhere to be seen ,but others that came after us had gotten their orders but we still patiently waited for close to an hour ( time that we barely had to spare ) because in the service industry I understand how things may take some time. At this point we decided to get up and check on our order and to our surprise , the order hadn’t been processed, we had been waiting patiently for nothing and instead owning up to what had happened there was no apology or even basic courtesy and that is what saddens me more, the lack in basic kindness , the attendant that had been taking our order just walked passed us without even the slightest sense acknowledgment of what had transpired. First Time in Fiji from Canada – Great Start in Ba Town!

We spent four days in Ba town, and it was the perfect place to kick off our first trip to Fiji. Every morning, we had breakfast at The Coffee Hub, and it quickly became our go-to spot. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. They offer a small but tasty selection of pastries and a nice variety of coffee options.

On our first morning—still jet-lagged—I ordered the macchiato, and it instantly woke me up. It was strong, flavorful, and just what I needed!

Joy was our waitress every day, and she truly made our mornings better. Her service was excellent, and I'm pretty sure she was either laughing at my jokes—or at me—but either way, she was great fun! On our last morning, the place was packed, but Joy still managed to find a spot for the three of us. That gesture alone says a lot about the kind of service they offer.

Been wanting to enjoy a good cup of coffee here in Lautoka Fiji since we arrived in Dec 2021. Can't find one except for Mac Donald's. Visited Ba town first chance after 3day quarantine and noticed a new Coffee Hub establishment conveniently located with ample parking. Didn't get a chance to go in that time, but on visiting Ba town one Sunday we decided to drop in and have a cuppa coffee, best thing we ever did, excellent service, staff are extremely polite and welcoming food was delicious, but the coffee topped it off, the barrista a young Fijian lad made the best coffee I've tasted in years, he would put most in Melbourne's coffee Barristas to shame, now I'm a sugar person but like to do that myself, I like to taste my coffee first just so I know how much I need to add, didn't need it. The best Coffee is always found in the most unlikely places some say and in this case I totally agree.
