Bistro & Bar Road Cafe Yttis — Restaurant in Aboland

In response to the owner's comment which she is not quoting correctly and hiding the facts. For the context, the restaurant is located near a  park with outside sitting area and a lone bench outside the bounded area of the restaurant under an apple tree. While travelling back home from a summer cottage in Rosala, Island, we saw this place on the way and decided to pause for some coffee and lite snack. My wife and kids sat down on the bench thinking it was not part of the restaurant with a couple of sandwiches we had already prepared for the kids. The owner came immediately and disrespectfully told my wife to leave since we had a couple sandwiches with us, and according to her the bench was her property. We told her that sitting on the bench was just a misunderstanding and even apologized for that but she continued in the same tone and kept asking us to leave, and for the owners information we still had all the intentions to buy coffee and some lite snacks from her place since I was about to go inside before this drama unfold. It was her attitude towards us that changed our minds. Above all she is misleading every one here by claiming that we were going to grill our own food and that we would go swim in the nearby lake. Also we are totally aware of the Covid-19 situation, that does not mean to speak to some one harshly and insult them even if they are only visitors. We do not deserve to be insulted and it is our right to review. The woman was not the staff, she was the owner as we recognize her from Facebook page and my wife mentioned it, but instead of an apology she deleted the comments and reviews on Facebook. She was clearly biased towards us. She yelled and insulted my wife and children and told her to leave. We even asked her to be nice. When we told her that we thought bench was not part of the restaurant she disrespectfully said quote NO IT IS OUR HOME. In a review you can share the experience of the place including the staff and we only did that. We do not wish to make any contact with the owner after her behavior, but we reserve the right to share our opinion. We are well educated and aware of the rules. Any restaurant is as good as its owner! ill- mannerd, uncivilized biased owner. the owner's behaviour was highly insulting and inappropriate to me and my little children over a minor misunderstanding. on the owner's response, i would kindly ask her to refrain from lying and making false statements and admit her short comings and be a better person. This is not fine dining, but a good honest place for burgers and pizza (and a really good salmon soup). Pleasant relaxed outdoor terrace with indoor space in case of rain. Three different beers on tap (including Kronenbourg weissbier, and Italian and domestic beer) which is quite a differentiator in this country side.
