Nice resto for a thai meal. I've usually go for their lunch menu (lounas menu). Which serves 4-5 dishes along with a salad buffet and coffee/tea. The daily menu usually includes a that curry (green, red) and a noodle dish along with a couple other dishes like pork. The only downer for me is that the curries description mentions thai basil, which I love having, and there no basil to be found in any of the curries. Not fresh or cooked. Also ordered a double espresso and was charged double the amount so ended up paying almost 8€ for a double espresso. When usually espressos are priced differently when it's a double. For example 3.50€ for a single and 4.50€ or 5.00€ for a double.
However, the service has always been friendly and courteous. The restaurant ambiance is inviting and comfortable for both conversation or a more romantic time. Toilets are clean.
Ah, they also serve alcohol with want to pair it with your meal.
This is one of my go to for thai when I'm in Helsinki. And I believe they have another branch...
Read moreI had chosen the restaurant for a meeting with a client as his office is next door. The lunch menu had a very appealing beef with noodles option which I went for. The beef appeared over-cooked, on further inspection it wasn’t even trimmed of sinew and had clearly been sitting for a long time before being reheated for my serving. My teeth weren’t sharp enough to eat the meat. It literally was a leather sole atop some admittedly tasty noodles. I chose to leave almost half of the meat as it was simply inedible, and also chose not to complain as it would’ve distracted and disrupted my very important business meeting which was underway during the meal. All would’ve been ok had I not had a very strong case of diarrhea, within the hour and thankfully I just made it home to the bathroom in time. I contacted the restaurant customer email and have had no response. Therefore I feel compelled to share my negative experience here. This visit was by far the worst Thai Dining experience in Finland. They’re almost...
Read moreThis is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in the city—I come here every week. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming.
The tasting menu is a standout: four flavorful small dishes plus rice, offering a delicious variety that always feels authentic. As a bonus, the soup and salad are included in the meal and served buffet style—great appetizers to enjoy while waiting for the main dishes to arrive.
The staff are friendly, and there’s easy parking right in front of the restaurant. They also have a fun stamp card system: collect a stamp each visit, and once you’ve filled it up, you get rewarded with a free drink or meal. It’s a thoughtful touch that keeps me coming back.
Highly recommended for anyone craving real Thai flavors in a warm,...
