Ravintola Esmira — Restaurant in Lappeenranta sub-region

I will never visit this restaurant. Before ordering, I asked how many pieces of shishlik the dish included and was told five. However, when it arrived, there were only four. When I asked about it, the explanation was that the portion is based on weight, but that was not what I was told before ordering. The reality was they had simply run out of shishlik and decided to reduce it to four pieces. I returned the food and did not eat it. I have been here a dozen times, and used to be one of my favorite places, but my recent visit has to be the last. Although the salad bar is excellent, and the food quality has been excellent too all the previous times, I was given a dish that was soggy, had a strange aftertaste, completely inedible. I did address my concerns to the staff, but their explanation was that there was nothing wrong with the dish, and it has always been the same. I got sick later in the day, and since the staff assured me the food is always like this, I have to edit my previous five star rating to two, and simply eat somewhere else...

Restaurant Esmira is one of my favourite places in Lappeenranta. I was there celebrating Father's Day with my family. We ordered mixed for three. There were: Adana Shish, Kana Shish, Chicken wings and Karitsa kare. Garnish and sauces were included. Meat was soft and delicious. Recommend for100%. And today they had a new meal - Chicken pasta.
