I ordered food for myself and my girlfriend. The delivery arrived after 40 minutes and the food was already cold. The large fries were missing, which was supposed to be half of my girlfriend’s portion.

I had no choice but to drive across the city to the restaurant myself, even though I had originally ordered delivery to avoid doing so.

I asked for the manager, who greeted me but responded very strictly: “I can give you fries now. Do you want them here or to go?” There was no “sorry, this was our mistake” or “enjoy your meal”.

After giving me the fries, he turned away. I asked if there was any kind of compensation for this situation, and the answer was that they could give me a sauce. A sauce that I had already ordered and already had.

So, in the end, I did not receive an apology, I lost my time and fuel to fix a mistake that should not have happened, and I felt that the manager did not take responsibility for his staff or for the quality of the service.

You can order via a machine or app (there are good discounts on the app). The wait for the food to be ready is not long. There are various seating areas and it is usually easy to find a seat. There is a lot of free parking lots in front of the restaurant. There is also a gas station, car wash and Lidl supermarket next to this place. The chicken dishes here are halal. You can also order several vegetarian dishes. If you inform the staff about food allergies, they will take care of this. You can also order drive-thru. Burger King in Vaasa has a great location – right next to a gas station, beside Lidl, and close to several other stores. It’s a smaller restaurant but perfect for a quick meal on the go.

The menu is the usual Burger King selection – nothing surprising. As in many other Burger King locations, there’s no ice cream, probably because no one feels like cleaning the machine. The fries were excellent – crispy and nicely salted. The Long Chicken was exactly as expected, a classic and still tasty.

Waiting times can get a bit longer during lunch hours since there’s also a drive-in, which slows things down at smaller locations like this one.
