OTHELLO Vaasa — Restaurant in Vaasa sub-region

I was in hospital before my birthday so I asked my husband to order a cake with vanilja custard , some chocolate droplets inside the cake ,and asked if possible to moisture the sponge with alcoholic base, he was told ok...Well the cake was nice out but, very dry no moisture sponge at all, the custard layer was so thin you could barely see it nor taste it, instead inside another layer of whipped cream..the chocolate was put on top instead inside so I was quite disappointed,,because I never order cakes I usually make myself ! so at first I gave a review of 1 star...

I immediately emailed and messaged to them that I won't buy from them or recommend because I was kind of angry :P ..

The owner who was very fast and kind and offered a refund, we decided that it was not necessary and I suggested I tasted maybe a couple of other goods ( asked for nougat,macaron and croissants)

Well I must admit he went even beyond my expectations, gave us waaayy too many things to taste :O and I kind of now felt embarrassed I had given them first 1 star for the cake ( the opinion to the cake dont change though) But I decided to give full stars now and edited my previous review ( id give him more stars for his kindness) the mini portions cakes offered were on another level, I loved the nougat and pistachios a lot ,I did not yet tasted all :D !! Thanks again for making me change my mind about the bakery I hope to visit as soon as I feel better also becasue it looked very nice from...

Othello on jo melko iäkäs leipomo, jo muutamat omistajanvaihdokset, tilojen laajennukset sekä suuret remontit kokenut. Paikka on toimiva myös pyörätuolilla kulkeville, joskin suunnittelu on monessa suhteessa jäänyt hieman puolitiehen ja vaatii mieluiten pienen pyörätuolin sekä taitoa, käyttöä jo pelkästään sisälle pääsyyn, upeita herkkutiskejä pullollaan jos vaikka mitä, mitä vain huippuleipurit voivat saada aikaiseksi 😋😋😋😋 Tänään kun kävin ohikulkiessani hyvien ystävien sinne mennessään minua kahville, oitis suostuin ja kahvi oli taas kerran täydellistä, tuoretta, eikä oikeastaan ikinä ole siellä terveenä käydessäni tullut pettymystä varrella monien vuosien monien. Henkilökunta on loistava, siinä ei ole moitteen sijaa 🙂 Pysäköintipaikat ovat hieman tuurista, ajankohdasta kiinni, mutta kyllä sinne kannattaa tulla, ei itse kantakaupungissa ole yhtään vastaavaa, eikä sielläkään oikein ole parkkipaikkoja, joka on Vaasan oikeastaan suurin vitsaus, ainakin liikuntavammaisia ajatellen. Herkkupaikka, jonne kannattaa tulla kauempaakin, Suosittelen...
