Gîte d'étape de Curzu — Restaurant in Ajaccio

We camped here for a night on the "Mare e Monti" trail. The camping spots are flat, large & even equipped with some ropes to hang our clothes. The kitchen and bathrooms are what you might expect feom any campsite - heavily used but perfectly functional. The owner is a friendly fellow who cooks truly awesome meals - unfortunately he retires this year, but if his successor does only half as good a job as he did the 5 stars would still...

We hiked the Tra Mare e Monti with a tent. The Hosts of the Gîte were friendly but we couldn‘t enjoy our stay. We payed 26€ for two persons and a tent, the campside is verry small and there were thorns on the ground ( not ideal for a good tent). Dominique is a lovely, friendly host and made us feel welcome. Our name/room no. was on board when we arrived so we were able to check in early. We enjoyed a delicious soup and filling main course.
