We reserved a week in advance to get a table by the water and ended up getting the worst seat in the house at the entrance next to the host despite all tables by the ocean being available. I can speak a little French, so I explained this to the host and then manager, but they didn't care... we were clearly English speaking tourists and were treated as such. Predictably, we then got the poor service, waiting for 20 mins to get served drinks. Our waitress was a little nicer, but as with all the corsicans we have met, there is an attitude of inconvenience to talk to the English speaking tourist. The cocktails were very average, poorly created, tasting, and presented. The food was nice enough but it is very small portions for what was the most expensive restaurant we had been to all week. Locals are very clearly treated with far more respect and attention. That's a strange culture to develop for an island that relies on tourism for its livelihood. Finally, the live musician played Mexican music which was pleasant and suitable embeiance. I've been a manager in hospitality for over 10 years, and my advice to management you have a nice venue and the changes you need to make are so small that will change the reviews you are getting. Just because you are at full capacity, doesn't excuse you from dropping the standards. And it's not hard to be nice and helpful to everyone, not just the...
Read moreThe setting of this restaurant is truly breathtaking â the beach with its few scattered rocks feels like another world. I ordered the rigatoni with Napolitana sauce. The pasta was perfectly al dente, but unfortunately the sauce was overly oily and lacked flavor. My partner, on the other hand, had a steak and said it was one of the best heâs had in a long time â full of flavor and beautifully cooked. It would have been nice to see some vegetables or a small salad served alongside instead of just fries. It felt all a bit too basic. The staff were vertical warm and welcoming, and they recommended an excellent wine. Overall, we had a very...
