I have been visiting this place for many years and so was pretty disappointed with my visit this time. I discover the owners have changed and that may explain the drop in standard.
The good bits are the front of house manager was very alert and doing his job well. The location and the terrace are very popular and the prices are competitive.
I was disappointed because the chicken salad, tagged with the restaurant name implying a signature dish, and first on the lists of salad, was simply a cold processed chicken burger cut into 4 quarters and laid on a bed of lettuce and tomato with a cold boiled carrot sliced up. We had already been presented with a chicken burger which was a mistaken order, and it almost appeared to be the same burger had been rapid chilled and represented to us. I realise that is speculative but either way the dish was very poor, lacked creativity and was not worth the 18 euros. If you like that sort of salad then you may like their food but overall it was substantially less impressive than previous years. I will...

They do not accept changes to the menu but our lovely waitress made an exception due to my allergy to onions. The salade de 2 ours was bought in corn coated chicken, with a few bits of tomato and a couple of slices of artichoke on leaves. The tariflete was swimming in cream and had no crispy top. The lasagna also had no crispy top and my friend only ate half. The wok au boeuf was fine but I think a bit lacking of beef or other interesting ingredients just a lot of noodles. The goats cheese salad was two very large slices of baguette with grilled goats cheese rounds on leaves and some radish. The burger was great and fantastic chips. A great location to sit in the sun for a beer and chips but not much more. Such a shame as this was the best restaurant in...
Read moreCaution!! New owners! Terrible service. Took ages to bring menus over. Ages to take out orders. Even drinks. Soup was cold. “Not possible” to hold the cheese on the soup or the burgers. Didn’t bring a spoon over for the the cold soup either. Not once did anyone come over during the meal to ask if everything was as ok. When it was time to pay the bill, one guy (terrible green trousers) laughed at us. Explaining if you didn’t eat fast in the mountains, your food gets cold. The manager took off the bottle of wine and the onion soup. Which was appreciated, but we won’t be going back!! After 20 years of it being our favourite l, it’s...
