Chalet du Sunny — Restaurant in Albertville

We had a wonderful experience at Chalet du Sunny! The food was absolutely delicious, with the onion soup being one of the best we’ve ever had—rich, flavorful, and comforting. And the blueberry pie? Simply to die for!

While we had a slight hiccup with the service on one occasion, today more than made up for it thanks to Nastasia. She was incredible—extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she handled everything with such a warm smile that even the sun might have been a little jealous!

We stopped by at this place at 14:30 on 22nd of March. We were waiting near the sign, asking «to wait to be seated», but nobody came to us. Finally we took a seat by ourselves and when the waiter brought us menu he told us in a rude manner that the kitchen is closed and they can serve only pizza. At the same time we saw that other people around us were served and when I went inside, I clearly saw through the kitchen window, that kitchen was operating and still preparing the regular dishes. Overall the waiter was unprofessional and unpleasant. We left this place, and found a much more hospitable one down the hill. Do not recommend this...

Pire expérience de restauration d'altitude Nous étions un groupe de 14, ayant prévu de passer la soirée au Sunny avec la formule : aller retour en dameuse puis repas de montagne (entrée, plat, dessert). A l'aller plus d'une vingtaine de personnes entassés dans l'étroite cabine de la dameuse ( le site internet mentionne un grand confort dans la dameuse) Au moment du repas : Une impossibilite de commander des carafes d'eau (l'eau n'y étant pas potable) Pour amuse bouche : une soupe de butternut en verrine (objectivement bonne) Pour plat : une fondue fromagère bonne et copieuse, mais la charcuterie servie est industrielle. Pour dessert : une salade de fruit industrielle assez étonnante en montagne (ananas, pastèque, pamplemousse..) Nous signalons l'anniversaire d'une personne de notre groupe : on nous sert un panier de pain en osier retourné avec des bougies... Et pour terminer un digestif : du rhum arrangé banane à la place du Génépi. Le retour en dameuse est pire qu'à l'aller une trentaine de personnes doivent s'y entasser, au point que certains restent debout dans une cabine de 1,50 de plafond. Puisque tout le monde ne rentre pas certains descendront en motoneige avec les ordures... Je déconseille donc ce restaurant dont le repas est proche d'une cantine scolaire au prix d'un étoilé, où les clients sont traités...
