la Bergerie — Restaurant in Albertville

Disappointing - arrived for lunch on outside terrace at 13:05 approximately (sign outside indicates lunch service from 12 noon to 2pm). We sat waiting (note : table not cleaned either as still with crumbs from previous occupants!) before waiter took order for drinks 10 mins later. At about 13:30 we intercepted the waiter and requested to order some Pizzas, we were told to wait that he would come back to us. He proceeded to take order from two families and then he came back to us 20 mins later and presented us with the bill for drinks and please pay! He proceeded to half heartenly apologise that he had 'forgotten' us (we all make errors so sorry...) and inform us that the kitchen oven was now closed. This 15 mins before end of service. I just wanted to have a drink during the lunch. We just visited la Bergerie for a dinner one day a go and wanted to plan for the next evening.But the service. Disrespect what was shown with a clear message go away you a on wronge place.It is clear that all want to sit in a sun. AVOID. My young family and I sat at our table this afternoon in a half empty restaurant for just over 25 mins without a drink, a menu, not even a welcome. Not easy to do with 9-, 7- and 2-year olds. The waitress occasionally glanced over with a strange look. Two French families were offered lunch menus as we waited, placed food orders and received drinks... Abruptly, another staff member appeared to inform us that there was "no more food". Nothing at all?! I visit France regularly and speak French considerately. I have not come across this kind of discrimination in France for a long time....
