Le Carroley — Restaurant in Albertville

Lovely location and good bar service - but that’s about all. Experience spoiled by chaotic food service (it really wasn’t very busy), ridiculous prices (€20.50 for two small bowls of over-cooked chips… wow!). Inside, the tables are too close with too many chairs (and the table’s depth makes it frustratingly difficult to sit at in ski boots). At least there’s a real fire - but you really can’t see it unless you’re the lucky table slowly baking to death right in front of it…...

Understaffed and poor food. We waited over an hour for a cheeseburger, when it came, the burger meat was cold, the bun hard and the chips cold! When after 45 min our burger hadn’t arrived we went downstairs to complain and were told we were stood in the way. This is not what you expect when you’re paying €20 for a burger! Une expérience exceptionnelle au restaurant d’altitude Le Carroley ! Le cadre est magnifique avec une vue à couper le souffle, parfait pour une pause gourmande en plein cœur de la montagne. Le personnel est au top : accueillant, souriant et aux petits soins. Quant à la cuisine, un vrai régal ! Des plats savoureux, généreux et faits avec des produits de qualité. Mention spéciale pour la côte de bœuf.
