It was explained that there was a new chef and the dishes were not on the menu but on a board to choose from other than the usual fondue and raclette. There were 5 dishes, pork shoulder, beef cheek, cod, vegetable risotto and tomahawk steak. No chicken option was available.
I opted for pork which was tasty. It came served on top of a mix of vegetables which included carrots and onions and were very greasy and a little soggy, and with some roast potatoes. Unusually there were also 3 huge dollops of tomato ketchup which seemed very out of place and an opportunity was missed for a nice sauce to complement the dish.
My companion chose the tomahawk and fries which was lovely. It came medium (there was no option to have it any other way). It was tasty and the fries were nice. It also came with some of the same greasy vegetables and some lettuce leaves dripping in too much dressing.
