Le Manoir de Bellecombe — Restaurant in Albertville

It was explained that there was a new chef and the dishes were not on the menu but on a board to choose from other than the usual fondue and raclette. There were 5 dishes, pork shoulder, beef cheek, cod, vegetable risotto and tomahawk steak. No chicken option was available.

I opted for pork which was tasty. It came served on top of a mix of vegetables which included carrots and onions and were very greasy and a little soggy, and with some roast potatoes. Unusually there were also 3 huge dollops of tomato ketchup which seemed very out of place and an opportunity was missed for a nice sauce to complement the dish.

My companion chose the tomahawk and fries which was lovely. It came medium (there was no option to have it any other way). It was tasty and the fries were nice. It also came with some of the same greasy vegetables and some lettuce leaves dripping in too much dressing.

Excellent find. Genuine French Cuisine and a smiling service, who was attentive, friendly and willing to explain the menu. We were there with our young puppy dog and were seated outside with enough space around, so no problem. A lovely place under trees and shrubs in front of the Manor house. J'ai récemment eu le plaisir de dîner au restaurant "Le Manoir de Bellecombe" et je dois dire que l'expérience a dépassé toutes mes attentes. En particulier, le filet de bœuf, qui est l'une des spécialités de la maison, a été une véritable révélation gastronomique. Le filet de bœuf était préparé à la perfection, d'une tendreté exceptionnelle et parfaitement assaisonné. Chaque bouchée fondait littéralement en bouche, offrant une explosion de saveurs inoubliables. Accompagné d'une sélection de garnitures exquises, ce plat était un véritable régal pour les papilles. En plus de la qualité exceptionnelle de la cuisine, l'ambiance du restaurant était chaleureuse et élégante, créant une atmosphère conviviale et raffinée. Le service était impeccable, le personnel attentionné et professionnel, veillant à ce que chaque client se sente comme un invité de marque. Je recommande vivement le restaurant "Le Manoir de Bellecombe" à tous les amateurs de bonne cuisine et d'expériences culinaires inoubliables.
