Half way a hike from Val d'Isere to Le Fornet and return we selected this place for a drink and snack.....seated on the terrace away from the main street and with beautiful views on the mountains Friendly welcome and service As snack we shared am amazing "tarte au pommes"....which was delicious! The good news is the bar queue is separate and pretty efficient, with only a couple of minutes wait.
The food is solid mountain fare, it's slightly pricey compared to Val claret or Tignes.

The only downside was the long, slow moving queue to order food. They have buzzers to tell you when to collect, but the ordering queue was still moving...
