This place is worth the hike. Unbelievably good food for 2300m altitude. Their 'hazelnut tarte' (tarte aux noix) is worth the hike alone, but the rest of the food is also delicious too. Tartiflette is a must have, but make sure you are hungry enough for the portion, but not too hungry to tuck into the hot food as it arrives. Regardless it's a MUST. Their savoury pancakes (galletes) are stunning and so are their sweet pancakes (crêpe).

Lastly the views of the valley and nearby peaks are made for social media posts or instant memories. We've returned just for the food, views and that stunning tarte aux noix after visiting...

Visited twice during the last week of the season and had the same thing each time because it was so good! Escalope with the best frites in La Plagne! Whilst there for the week, we managed to try hot chocolate and rum in 6 different places. This was the best though! Ate outside in the sun one day and inside in a cosy alcove when it was snowing. Great lovely friendly staff...

Tucked next to entrance to the Carella lift, at the top of the Levasset Bas ski run, this little gem is a welcome stop.
