Crêperie La Chandelle — Restaurant in Alençon

Was looking forward to lunch at this creperie having visited previously and enjoyed an excellent meal there. Unfortunately when we arrived the owner initially refused to serve our party (we were a group of 7) despite the restaurant being empty and, in her words, not having any bookings, because she "had to prioritise office workers".

She eventually relented but left us sitting at our table for 30 mins without bringing any menus over or offering a drink, all while serving other customers who had arrived afterwards. Very bizarre and rude behaviour, we will not...

Please beware that the vegetalienne galette is not truly vegan. They use butter in all their galette to cook them. The owner was nice to answer my many questions, but their menu is very misleading, and you should not name a menu item vegan if it is not...

Personnes agréables et serviables. Il y a un très bon Rapport quantité/prix. La pâte de la galette est fine et très bonne. Les galettes que nous avons mangé, sont très bonnes. Juste un bémol sur la galette tartiflette... il n'y avait pas beaucoup de fromage (seulement 4 petits morceaux de fromages de tartiflette au fond) ... il en aurait fallu un peu plus pour que son nom soit bien porté. Autrement, rien à redire sur les deux autres galettes. Les desserts de crêpes sont très bonnes. On en a vraiment pour notre argent malgré le petit hic sur la tartiflette... La viande et d'autres produits sont d'origines françaises. Il y a aussi du thé et infusion bio. Très bien pour les personnes qui préfèrent du bio. Le lieu est agréable pour manger. Il vaut mieux...
