Best food experience in France! Absolutely loved this restaurant. Amazing food, - we had beautiful beef and some traditional Normandy dishes, everything was perfect and actually it was the best beef we’ve tried! And that’s not the only highlight of this place, - the service was incredible! The chef was lovely, he came up to us and explained everything about every single dish, his English is perfect :) He recommended us the best things in the menu and was really friendly and patient with us not being able to read French. You can tell he’s really passionate about cooking! (It’s a shame we didn’t get his name). The service is general was amazing! Good selection of food on the menu and a very good wine list. Fabulous service from our waiter. Can either speak to you in French or English. Would be a good idea to book first. Had a lovely little picnic on the river & afterwards a walk around the village. Popped in for an ice cream at 3pm to takeaway 🍦 at the end of usual service to be told “it’s not possible”. When a restaurant has an ice-cream cart on show on the terrace it would be polite to say we can offer you in 5 minutes or so. It was the first time on our whole holiday we experienced such rudeness.
