On our hiking trip from Rodersdorf to Moernach we booked a room at the Hostellerie and a table for dinner. I reviewed previous dinner experiences however first time we booked a room. |The room and the Hostellerie was very clean and enough space to feel comfortable for a night. The room has charm and character. It was a pleasant surprise. What made the difference was the host Carmen. Despite we arrived after 20h and being at the dinner table after 21h we got fully served with a Chateaubriand and could enjoy our evening at the table until midnight. Thank you for this hospitality and flexibility. The vegetables and french fries are boring and overcooked, but the meat is good. Mushrooms are homegrown and lovely.
