Hôtel restaurant Collin — Restaurant in Altkirch

We came for a night away in Ferrette from Basel, after booking by email/contact form. Everything was ready when we arrived and the staff couldn't have been more helpful! They offered us a place to store our bikes, helped us up to the room, and were incredibly warm and welcoming.

The room was simple but bright and clean, and had everything we needed. Bed was really soft and comfy! The room even has air con but we didn't need it.

The hotel is in the center of town so we could hear some traffic noise in the morning. This didn't bother us but might bother light sleepers, or bring earplugs!

Set in lovely countryside the Auberge Collin was a wonderful break after a hard day's drive from Italy. We were met by friendly service and good English on arrival. Our room at the front of the hotel was a good size, tastefully furnished, with 2 sets of French windows leading onto little balconies. The bathroom was large and recently refurbished to a high standard. We were delighted that an evening meal was available, it being Sunday, but were totally amazed to see the dining room/bar was overflowing with customers when we went down.
