Le Bystrot Brissac — Restaurant in Angers

We had a very good lunch .. duck lunch on the daily special very well presented.. salmon 2 ways .. smoked and poached with tagliatelle and mushrooms tasty too .. so Cesar salad was a bit bland .. but lentils lunch special was excellent.. since we get poke often at home in Hawaii I was surprised to see poke bowl on the menu.. but did not try it …we opted to eat more French style…nice selection of desserts.. including isles Flottant and creme caramel..very good speedy lunch service.. good prices we will be back if we can .. noisy lunch service but goes with the territory during weekdays lunch service ..tables could be a bit more spaced out but not so close that you have to hear all conversations...

Whilst in the area on holiday from UK decided to try , wow glad we did , my little French was greeted with a smile & excellent English. The server once she realised we were English went on to explain the menu to us in her English & my French it was lovely.The service was excellent despite it being busy , the food was also excellent fresh & great value . If you go have the Rouge Melba Devine . We will go back whilst here ..my husband said his steak was the best he had had for a long while . Well done...

Rien à dire dans l ensemble en revanche l attitude du patron ou responsable derrière le bar est inacceptable. Le cœur d entrecôte black Angus qui m’a été servis saignant comme demandé était super dure franchement immangeable sauf à mastiquer sans fin et surtout sans plaisirs. La serveuse ma proposer un autre choix parfais mais le patron est revenu avec le morceau de viande dans une assiette coupé en fine tranche m invitant à regoûter le morceau 🤔 conclusions identiques. J ai eu le droit d entendre que il a vendu plus de 200 pièces sans problème, a croire que je suis venu au restaurant dans ce but. Je n ais pas demander de guetter de cœur le renvoie du plat je n avais aucune envie d être ennuyeux et j ai mangés en décalé avec la personne qui m accompagnait. Passage en caisse le patron me dit on a servis 15 ce soir aucun problème… 😳 Quel dommage de chercher à mettre les clients dans une t elle situation. Réviser votre formation d hôtellerie...
