Reflets de Loire — Restaurant in Angers

Worst food I’ve had in France in all the years of visiting. Menu said a pork kebab, ended up being pulled pork burger with beef. Beef over cooked and stone cold and pulled pork was as one would get in a snack van not a restaurant. Frozen chips. Food would be acceptable from your average kebab shop but for nearly thirty euros was just a joke compared to standard of food most French restaurants offer. Didn’t eat any of the meal and was still charged full price. Seats dirty and was given a completely unsafe (and dirty) child seat. The child seat used was actually a car booster seat for older children not toddlers and nearly caused a major accident. Staff polite and welcoming but still charged us full price for a meal that wasn’t eaten. Found out afterwards the ownership of business has changed hands a lot and I can see why it’s failed thus far. Lovely night at this restaurant. We turned up with two small children without a booking and we managed to get a table outside. Excellent service and great food. Very nice children’s menu with large portions. Pizza was adult size. Great breaded fish for my daughter. My other half and I are vegetarian and they do a great veggie burger and a veggie pizza.
