This place doesn’t pretend to be top end dining but what it does it does well, good and plentiful food. I recommend the Normandy pork or the chef special duck (canard) in a honey drizzle. Mostly I have had hand cut skin on fries, occasionally I have had frozen fries. Today the duck was served with a haricot bean side, which was lovely (white beans not green) which was almost a meal in itself with carrots and onions. The duck was cooked to perfection and very soft (I have mine medium rare or saignant - ‘senyon’). Open 10 to 2pm and again at 5pm. Lunch is the most popular.
