Pizzéria du Colorado — Restaurant in Apt

Medium sized open air restaurant, mainly catering to the adjacent campsite.

Huge selection of pizzas on the menu, along with other more traditional items. Staff seemed to struggle with non-pizza food. Pizzas themselves arrived hot and with plenty of topping. More quantity than quality however. Non-pizza food less appetising.

Desserts interesting but in the wrong way. The “after eight” sundae contained a fair amount of what appeared to be green mouthwash. Unappealing.

Dommage car ce restaurant nous a été conseillé par un responsable du site du colorado provencal !!! Parking, mais rapidement plein. Reçu par une jeune femme pas souriante, sèche. Demande si on a réservé.. Non car nous ne savons pas à l'avance où on va déjeuner. Il commence à pleuvoir. Elle nous installe sous la partie arbre mais en bordure Heureusement la pluie s'arrête. Elle nous donne les cartes. Vient demander si on prend un apéritif. Oui. Ensuite prend nôtre commande. On choisit le plat du jour : aubergines farcies ( on a adoré) A peine terminé mon assiette, elle me la retire ( il me restait un peu d'aubergines).. Demande pour les desserts et en même temps les cafés!! Ouh là ! On a envie de souffler. L'endroit est verdoyant,calme,reposant. Entre temps elle est devenue plus plaisante.. presque aimable. On va payer à l'intérieur, reçu par une autre jeune femme aimable et souriante ( ça change) Je constate qu'à la lecture des avis, ce problème de serveuse pas aimable dure depuis longtemps. En revanche nous avons constaté que les 2 serveuses ont un travail hyper speed.. On les voit passer avec les assiettes au pas de course.. Elles doivent en avoir plein les...

English version: For a pizza abroad, it was surprisingly decent — almost really good. The place is unique, with a rustic vibe tucked beneath striking yellow ochre cliffs. Friendly and fast service, and wood-fired cooking that adds great flavor.

We booked for dinner and had duck breast and entrecôte — both excellent. It was so good we came back the next day to try their pizzas, which were also tasty.

Versione italiana: Per essere all’estero, la pizza era buona. Il locale ha un’atmosfera rustica e particolare, immerso tra alte pareti di ocra gialla. Personale gentile e servizio veloce, con cucina a legna che dà un tocco in più. Abbiamo cenato con petto d’anatra e entrecôt, piatti ottimi. Ci è piaciuto talmente tanto che siamo tornati il giorno dopo per assaggiare le pizze, davvero buone anche quelle.
