L'Ambar Sunset Lounge — Restaurant in Arles

We loved this place - it has a great vibe and the whole experience was just fun. You don’t need to have the sunset to enjoy time here, although red sky and rose do go well together. The rose cocktails are great, yes the tapas are quite substantial, but rather this than not enough. We loved sitting there, listening to some super cool music ( much of which we Shazammed!), drinking cocktails or wine and eating tapas - fingers were fine, we didn’t need forks! The music was very much part of the atmosphere - not quiet boring ‘lift music’ - but it was never too loud not to be able to have a conversation. Everything about this place is ‘hip’ - the staff, the music, the drinks, the lighting up of the vines. Music was very loud sofa was wet after the rain so asked for a blanket - service slow and waitress seemed inexperienced no engagement Menu seemed limited and not very inspirational Ordered the ham with tomato bruschetta & goats cheese selection - all very difficult to eat with no plates and was given one set of cutlery , no drink mats so drink dripped all over you .
