Beautiful grounds, nicely decorated place . but the food( at least my dishes) was disappointing ! Service was friendly but a touch slow especially if dining with children. The amuse bouche was nothing to write home about - it was a piece of tempura fish . My first course of courgettes flowers did not taste of the delicate flowers at all, it was a fried ball stuffed with something which left a bad taste in my mouth. And the main course of risotto was piled with boiled vegetables and soaking in emulsion !

We recently dinned in 4 different restaurants in the area, all high end. But l‘Opale was the best, in terms of setting, food and services. Je mets une très bonne note pour ne pas nuire à l’établissement et étant moi-même du métier, je sais que c’est pas facile tous les jours surtout un lundi quand les managers sont certainement en repos. Cinq, Tables en terrasse , personne à l’intérieur, 20 minutes pour avoir un apéritif une heure pour avoir les plats c’est beaucoup beaucoup trop long. À la base nous venions pour le gastro, mais j’ai dû mal me renseigner et le midi ce n’était que le bistrot soit pas grave j’ai commandé une brioche au veau je ne m’attendais pas du tout à un Burger c’est pas grave, il était excellent, ma femme a pris des spaghettis à la vongole beaucoup beaucoup trop citronnée et uniquement six petits coquillages dedans. J’ai 25 ans de cuisine, je n’ai jamais vu ça de ma vie. Si le cost est trop serré augmenter le prix de trois euros, mais mettez une portion descente s’il vous plaît.
