A fantastic night. My wife and I arrived in the middle of a road trip so we weren't dressed in our best. Mr. Gil greeted us, showed us our room, and allowed us to get settled. We came downstairs for pre-dinner aperitif and were served beautiful cocktails with expertly crafted small-bites. When ready, we were shown to our table. We chose the 6 course meal. All of the food was excellent, truly. But what stood out the most was the hospitality of Mr. Gil. He was attentive without being obtrusive and was a perfect ambassador to Chef Brochot's delicious and fun dishes. A truly fantastic experience and one that we will surely do again. I should mention the room. It was quaint, cozy, and clean and well worth the price paid. After the feast we had the night prior we did not mind in the least that breakfast was basic. It consisted of fresh fruit, coffee, juice and of course a bounty of French baked goods. Places like this are the essence of France. Thank you again Chef Brochot...

The only negative, and this is minor, is that the room is a little tired - a cover on the fire alarm was broken and part of the chandelier was dangling loose. It did not detract from the dining experience. Heartily...
