Outstanding value and service. The salmon meal was one of the best I have ever enjoyed at any restaurant. The Picorette offers a small menu usually with two or three quiches (one is vegetarian) and one hot meat or fish meal. The menu changes each day and the chef can be relied upon to produce top quality food with excellent sauces. The owner is usually present and his personal contribution to the customer service is another major plus for this restaurant. Originally tea rooms there are hundreds of different teas, scones to take away and a selection of artisan jams. My wife and I tried Picotette on a whim one morning in Granville and we were absolutely bliwn away by everything!

Though we're both usually coffee drinkers, we went with Maté and Mint teas with our delicious quiches - all fabulous! We also had some sweet treats... When in rome, and all that! My wife had the creme brulee, which was very nice, but i almost had a religious experience with the clafouti - do not miss this! Amazing local bakery + tea-house where everything they serve is homemade. They make all of their food/deserts from scratch, individually, for each order. They also have a HUGE tea selection!

The only slight draw-backs are that they do not have an English menu, but their waitresses are very sweet and will help translate the menu for you and give you recommendations. Honestly, the deserts are to die for. You probably couldn’t go wrong even if you just randomly picked anything...
