La Ferme De La Yole — Restaurant in Béziers

The restaurant is under new management and is finding its feet. The set up is unusual. We ordered our salad from one counter, our main from another counter and our drinks from a different counter. Music was playing through portable speakers between a TV that was not on. Children have space to play but no climbing frames etc. For our starter we shared a salad that was enough for the both of us. We had a full chicken which is spit roasted on the other side of the counter. The chicken was delicious. Wine comes from the Domaine La Yoke, located next to the restaurant. As dusk approached fairy lights came on giving a randomness to the Illumination. We stayed and chatted to each other long after we'd finished eating. Je suis au regret de vous déconseiller ce restaurant. En effet arrivés 20h suite réservation. 30 minutes plus tard toujours personne venu nous voir, en fait on nous a zappé lol. Le patron intervient prend nos commandes et geste commercial nous offre l'apéro ce que j'apprécie. Ensuite vient le temps de commander on se met tous d'accord pour les menus et là acte 2 désolée le mercredi pas de menu c'est une soirée spéciale à thème qui était là paella sinon tout à la carte. Donc comme nous étions venus en famille pour manger de la viande donc commande à la carte. Viande excellente (entrecôte cuisson bleue) la cuisson était parfaite il faut le dire. Commande des desserts, me concernant crème brûlée les autres salade de fruits et glace. On part du restau à 22h. A minuit. Prise de violents spasmes crampes intestinales moi et ma fille. J'explique pour la crème brûlée comme ils n'avaient plus de gros ramequins ils m'en ont apporté 2 petits dont 1 que ma fille de 11 ans a mangé ERREUR soin avait su. Donc nuit blanche de mercredi à jeudi je vous passe les détails, et là ce jour je suis totalement sans force des transpirees, enfin la bonne intoxication alimentaire. Je voulais donc mettre ce commentaire pour raconter mon histoire. Pour info, j'ai appelé le restaurant pour les informer, on m'a répondu je transmets au cuisinier et voilà. Merci de m'avoir lue. Une vacancière en colère qui ne mangera plus jamais de crème brûlée. Problème de conservation ? Chaîne du froid...

New owners this season are much more attentive than before and very welcoming of big groups and small children. The farm is as charming as ever - animals for the children to enjoy, dappled shade under the olive trees. Meat is all grilled over coals, cooked to perfection - plenty of homemade options, delicious desserts. Simple menu, but well chosen and superbly executed.
