Stefanie and Kenneth created a piece of heaven in this elegantly renovated old school building with stunning views on the small medieval town of Olargues.
I fully enjoyed the slow pace of southern France and the gastronomic delights that Stefanie and her team serves up for breakfast and dinner. It is a great thing that there are chefs out there that can make plant based meals both exciting and indulging.
Thanks also to the host Laura for her warm welcome. She dealt with any issues very efficiently and is always there for any questions.
Although the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening Stefanie still proposed to make a nice dinner for me. I really appreciate the lengths the team went through to make make feel welcome.

The hotel is beautiful, they have thought of every detail to make your stay as relaxed and comfortable as possible. We really enjoyed our view from the balcony, having a glass of wine on the terrace, playing boules, the delicious breakfast and swimming in the river. Olargues is a hidden gem. Would love to come back! For those visiting the area I’d highly recommend checking what restaurants are open as when we went, many in the area were closed however we managed to have a lovely meal in the hotel one evening.
