We reserved and our table was ready on arrival. We ordered some drinks and some savory pancakes. Even for our vegetarian son they left out the meat. The calamari salad was small even though they serve this as a main dish. As a dessert we had a crème brûlée, coco flan. These were rather small for 7,50 euro each. The bill was huge, more than 80 euros for can be considered a snack for 3 people. They overcharge because of the location with the lighthouse. It is rather crowded and difficult to park down at the restaurant because people come from everywhere to see the sunset.

Can't give 5, as the pancakes are not good at all. They are too sweet. The caramel one was swimming in sugar. Also stay away from the calamari salad as the calamari are just tasteless. The gallettes are tasty, but that is about it. Nice location, but be sure to make a reservation as there isn't much around than this restaurant.

C'est tout à fait par hasard que nous avons découvert ce restaurant, poussé par la curiosité du "juste voir le phare". Parfait nous cherchions aussi un resto. Un seul conseil: allez y! Carte pas focus "local" . pizza (le soir) et crêpes sarrasin, et dessert. MAIS 3 plats du jours (et 2vou 3 desserts frais), et là !!!! Local et PARFAITEMENT exécutés et assaisonnés. Une ravissement. Même le "simple" riz pois rouges était super bon. Le planteur, le plat (fricassé de chatrou pour moi, mijoté de boeuf pour lui), le dessert (flan coco oulala quel régal), la vue, le service, le sourire des cuisinières. Tout était parfait. Le prix va avec, mais sans abus. Étant donnée la qualité, il n'y a rien a dire. Monsieur, pourtant pas expressif, a dit de son plat "excellent" sans qu'on lui demande. Alors c'est dire! Merci le hasard. Et merci mesdames en cuisine et les serveurs.

I’m not sure why reviews are saying the food is good. Pizza was acid and tasted awful. Had to submerge it with their spicy oil. Fricassée chatrou and fricassée poulet were sadly both not good at all. Chatrou overcooked. Sauces blant for chatrou and acidic for the chicken. Had to leave the plates half full. I hope you have a better meal than we did. On the other hand the Nutella pancake was decent and...

Un accueil très curieux et complètement irrespectueux.... mes amis et moi nous sommes rendus au Phare pour un verre en fin de journée. En arrivant, nous sommes rentrés mais il n'y avait personne spécifiquement désigné pour nous installer. Nous avons donc pris la "désastreuse" initiative de nous installer à une table libre (les 2/3 de la salle l'était à ce moment là). S'en est suivi à 3 reprises des débats sur la notion du "bonjour" et la notion de service + rôle du serveur sans que notre table soit débarrassée des précédentes consommations ni que notre commande soit prise. Nous, clients, avons donc été littéralement punis et ignorés pendant près1 heure. De toutes évidences, au Phare, ce n'est pas le client qui est roi mais l'établissement et les serveurs...Etrange non ? Précisions sur la composition de notre groupe originaire de la Guadeloupe moi même femme enceinte de 7 mois une enfant de 2 ans et demi. Donc une heure sans prise de commande et même un verre d'eau du robinet... Donc une heure ou nous sommes repartis comme nous sommes arrivés: le ventre vide et assoiffés. Rien à ajouter de plus: le coucher soleil à Vieux Fort oui, un verre ensuite au Phare...
