I strongly recommend you to add La Lézarde on your must do list of Basse-Terre Island either after a swim at aire de pique-nique des écrevisses or after a hike in the beautiful Valombreuse garden (I advise exercise first because you do want to try the food). La Lézarde allows you to taste artisanal beer on a terrace in a beautiful garden but also now some tasty snacks during the day and chef's specials at night. The beers (we had the Piment and the Gingembre) were refreshing and tasty, and the kids enjoyed limonade. We were most blown away by the deliciousness of the food, though. The charcuterie board was generous, and the tarte tomato-chevre was absolutely delicious (served with a salad).
