We arrived 30 minutes before closing and the owner was incredibly kind and made us a pizza that did not disappoint! It had a sort of dried fish on it with mascarpone and lemon. I am a fan of new food combinations as pizza can get repetitive. This was truly a wonderful surprise and a pizza to remember for our time here in Corsica (big pizza feeds 2 fyi). This was some of the best pizza we have ever had in our lives. The flavor profiles were very unique and perfectly balanced. Despite the fact that I think the word “umami” is overused - A Bastella has mastered the art of umami. If this pizza was being served in New York or LA you would have to wait hours in line...

Una scoperta meravigliosa. Già dalla strada questa piccola pizzeria si presenta come unica nel suo genere. L'ambiente è surreale, piccolo, nascosto tra le piante, sembra quasi abbandonato. Non ideale per chi cerca un posto raffinato. Il posto giusto per chi ama i piccoli tesori nascosti.
